Job DescriptionRegional Sales Manager
Metric Geo | United States (Remote / Territory-Based)
Regional Sales Manager:
Metric Geo is partnered with a growing, private equity-backed water infrastructure platform focused on acquiring and building established manufacturers of engineered equipment and components serving the water, wastewater, and industrial process-fluid markets. Their product portfolio includes valves, actuators, plugs, strainers, heat exchangers, and other engineered flow-control products.
This is an opportunity to join a growing commercial organization during the early stages of building a broader water infrastructure platform. The company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of an established territory, grow existing business, develop customer relationships, and manage local manufacturer’s representatives. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a growing platform while benefiting from an established book of business and significant earning potential.
Regional Sales Manager:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth across an assigned territory by developing customer relationships, managing manufacturer’s representatives, and expanding sales of engineered equipment and flow-control products. This individual will work closely with local representatives, customers, engineers, and other commercial stakeholders to identify opportunities, support specification development, and grow market share across water, wastewater, and industrial markets.
The position requires a technically minded sales professional with experience selling engineered equipment and developing business through representative networks or other channel partners. Experience writing specifications, working with engineering firms, and selling into water and wastewater infrastructure markets is highly desirable. Direct experience with valves and flow-control products is a plus, but candidates with transferable experience selling engineered industrial equipment will also be considered.
This is a remote, territory-based position with flexibility on location. The company is open to candidates across the United States, particularly in the Southwest, Great Plains, Midwest, and Northeast. Candidates should be located near a major airport, as travel is primarily by air.
Compensation:
Approximately $80,000 base salary, with guaranteed first-year earnings of approximately $150,000 plus uncapped commission.

Drive sales of engineered equipment and flow-control products serving municipal water, wastewater, and industrial process-fluid applications
Build and maintain relationships with end users, consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, OEMs, and other relevant channel partners
Identify new business opportunities, develop sales pipelines, and convert prospects into long-term customer relationships
Work with manufacturer’s representatives to establish territory priorities, develop account strategies, and improve sales performance
Support specification development and work with engineering firms and customers to position products on upcoming projects
Understand customer applications and technical requirements to identify appropriate products and engineered solutions

Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, industry events, and other commercial activities
Contribute to the continued growth of the broader platform as the company expands its portfolio of engineered water infrastructure products
