Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Geotechnical Engineer based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for conducting site investigations, conducting inspections, analyzing soil properties, and providing recommendations for foundation design and geotechnical solutions. Daily tasks include field supervision, data collection, report preparation, and collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams. The role plays a crucial part in ensuring safe design and execution of engineering projects.
Qualifications:
Preferred experience in site investigation and analysis of subsurface conditions Strong interest in Geotechnical Engineering and Geology Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Engineer-In-Training or a Professional Engineer (PE) license; or ability to obtain one within a set timeline Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with AutoCAD is an advantage Ability to travel to job sites in the NYC area
