About the role
- Direct hire, full-time and on-site in Columbia, Maryland
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities based on business needs
- At least three years of successful management experience with responsibility for people, performance and business results.
- Proven experience leading both sales and operations within a branch, region, market, business unit or service organization.
- Hands-on experience coaching sales representatives and managing measurable sales activity.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, sales pipelines, forecasting and performance metrics.
- Experience with P&L management, budgeting, revenue growth or overall profitability is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop employees, address underperformance and build accountable teams.
- Experience managing customer relationships, service issues, retention and business growth.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, prospects and independent business owners.
- Action-oriented leadership style with the drive and follow-through to achieve results.
- Bachelor’s degree OR an outstanding record of progressive professional achievement.
- Ability to work on-site and remain visible and engaged with employees, customers and Franchise Business Owners.
- Highly Desirable Experience
- Franchise operations, franchise development or Franchise Business Owner support
- Commercial cleaning, janitorial, facilities or building services
- Hospitality or hotel general management with full operational and financial responsibility
- Telecommunications, wireless, cable, satellite or other field-sales organizations
- Security, restoration, pest control, landscaping, uniform services or other route-based service businesses
- Regional business planning, budgeting, forecasting and P&L ownership
- Outside-sales coaching, field ride-alongs and new-business development
