Role Description: This role is Senior Associate level role although will come with a Director title. It is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL, responsible for driving the firm’s growth through new client relationships and strategic partnerships. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing business plans, and managing the full lifecycle of lead generation activities. The Director will cultivate and maintain key accounts, oversee contract negotiation processes, and ensure that agreements support the firm’s financial and strategic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with leadership and investment teams, preparing and delivering presentations, monitoring market trends, and refining business development strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.
Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of originating and closing growth opportunities (6-8 years of experience)Strong capabilities in Business Planning, including market analysis, pipeline management, and strategic planning to support firm objectives. Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Account Management, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term client relationships. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent the firm professionally. Experience in financial services, private equity, or investment management is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus. Ability to work on-site in Chicago, IL, with strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and comfort in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
