This position offers qualified candidates the opportunity to join a dedicated staff that performs important work processes for Aspen's Minnesota hauling operation.Wage range: $25.00/hour - $30.00/hourJob Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAspen Waste Systems' Dispatchers and Customer Service Representatives communicate with Aspen Waste Drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route for residential, commercial and roll-off lines of business. Dispatcher/Customer Service Representatives handle a large volume of incoming calls from customers, direct drivers as needed, and resolve customer service related issues. Duties include:Handles a large volume of incoming calls and addresses the customer inquiry in an efficient and professional manner.Dispatches drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers' locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and speed of response.Documents customer inquiries accurately and in a timely manner.Performs customer account maintenance as required.Assigns routes and service tickets to appropriate Drivers throughout the day and for the next day; close service tickets each day.Initiates outbound calls to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolving pick-up and other service issues.Troubleshoots and resolves potential issues before they result in service issues.Ensures same-day service on missed pick-ups by coordinating Driver movement in the field.Other duties as required.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.
