About the role
Accentuate Staffing is seeking an excellent Front Desk Coordinator & HR Support Specialist to join one of our growing clients in Raleigh, NC. The Front Desk Coordinator & HR Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for the organization providing professional front desk support, exceptional customer service, and administrative assistance. This role also supports Human Resources functions and office services to ensure efficient, welcoming, and professional daily operations. This is a part-time Monday through Friday position onsite 9am-3pm.
Responsibilities
Welcome, greet, and direct all visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
Promptly answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls.
Assist customers and visitors while ensuring proper check-in and check-out procedures.
Accept and process deliveries, mail distribution, and packages.
Order, maintain, and organize office supplies.
Maintain a general working knowledge of Schmalz Inc. personnel and functions to properly route inquiries, visitors, and requests.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Report to work and scheduled meetings on time and consistently according to established schedules.
Customer Service
Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly, courteous, proactive, and professional manner.
Maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Handle challenging situations tactfully and professionally.
Respond to requests, inquiries, and questions in a timely manner.
Human Resources Support
Assist the HR team with administrative tasks as assigned.
Support HR in administering team member recognition and rewards, including:
Anniversaries
Life events (marriages, birth of a child, etc.)
Service awards
Maintain a trusted and confidential working relationship with the HR team.
Culture & Engagement
Coordinate with the Party Planning Committee (PPE) on employee engagement and culture-related activities.
Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of internal events and sales meetings, including food and beverage setup as needed.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Previous front desk or administrative support experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Willingness to learn new programs, software, and tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Associate's degree.
Previous Human Resources support experience.
