About the role
Summary:
Our client is seeking a Safety & Physical Security Program Manager for a non-profit educational institution based in Manhattan, NYC.This role owns and leads Safety & Physical Security programs from design through execution, ensuring they are scalable, measurable, and continuously improving.
Key Responsibilities:
Emergency preparedness, security operations, incident management, investigations, intelligence, vendor management, SOP standardization, and oversight of a 24/7 Command Center.
Key Requirements:
Experience leading complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders. At least four years of physical security industry experience in the private sector underpinning earlier experience in law enforcement, emergency services, the military, or the intelligence community. Solid exposure to GSOC operations, incident management, and open source research. Experience managing third party vendors. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as polished communication skills (written and oral).College degree required. This role is hybrid; In office three days a week in Manhattan.
