Copywriter Location: Phoenix, AZ
Type: 12 month contract Onsite: 4 days/week; remote Fridays Our client is seeking an experienced Copywriter to join a collaborative creative team. In this contract role, you’ll develop compelling, on-brand copy across a range of marketing channels and help bring campaigns and customer-facing communications to life.
Responsibilities: Create clear, engaging copy for digital and traditional marketing channels. Write and edit content for campaigns, websites, email, social media, video, collateral, and other customer communications. Collaborate with designers, creative leaders, and marketing partners to develop strong concepts and campaigns. Adapt messaging for varied audiences, channels, and business needs. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Incorporate feedback while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Proofread and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Qualifications: 6+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in an agency or in-house creative environment. A strong portfolio showcasing marketing, campaign, and brand work. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience with headlines, CTAs, subject lines, and long-form content. Ability to quickly learn and execute an established brand voice. Experience partnering with designers and cross-functional marketing teams. Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance competing priorities.
