Product Designer
syntraceNew York (NY)
About the role
Syntrace builds conversational knowledge for institutional investors. We capture, organize and synthesize private conversations into source-backed knowledge a firm can build on. We are now hiring a Product Designer, based in New York. You will design how Syntrace works, from the first capture of a conversation to the moment a user finds exactly what was said. You will work closely with our Product and Design Director, our engineers and our users. Our users trust us with the most sensitive conversations they have. That makes security part of the product, not a feature on top of it.
What you bring:
Several years designing B2B products at a company known for its craft.- Strength in interaction design, information design and prototyping.- A strong eye for detail.
What you get:
A founding role with real ownership.- A senior team that has scaled companies before.- The chance to define how a new category of product looks and feels.
To apply, send a short note to careers@syntrace.com about yourself.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
