About the role
Retail Associate Are you an outgoing and engaging person who is looking to grow within a corporation? We are looking for a Retail Associate in the Gift Shop of Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs to create an engaging shopping experience for customers while interacting in a real and authentic way. The Retail Associate works as a team player by assisting the Assistant Retail Manager and Retail Manager with daily tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
- Punctuality and reliability are critical.
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customers' needs.
- Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds at a time.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
