About the role
Job Description:
Inventory clerk is responsible for counting warehouse and work-in-process inventory, recording transfers from location to location in ERP system. Researching errors in counts of inventory from physical to the ERP system. Assist Team members in locating inventory. Must be a high energy individual to complete many inventory tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing inventory movement, cycle counting inventory and troubleshooting inventory problems. Assist Quality Control Specialist in testing.
Main tasks:
Record daily inventory transfers from various locations, including WIP, warehouse and Plant facility. Count inventory daily using the A B C count reference sheet showing items needed counting from Rapid movement items to slow moving items. Assist in testing inventory. Assist Warehouse Specialist in checking in shipments and making sure items are stored correctly labeled, located in the right bins, and easy to retrieve.
Qualifications:
Minimum high school degree or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years in a similar role. Inventory Clerk must be able to drive forklift. Certification a plus. Must have more than a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
