Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Technician works directly with students with autism in a specialized school-based setting. You'll support behavioral, communication, social, and daily living skill development while using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) direct classroom support to students with autism Implement behavior support plans and IEP goals Track and document student progress Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development Collaborate with teachers, Behavior Consultants, and school staff Participate in ongoing supervision and training
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • Experience working with children preferred, but not required
  • Interest in education, psychology, autism services, behavioral health, or human services
  • Patient, dependable, structured, and team-oriented
  • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
  • No prior ABA experience required — training is provided.
