About the role
RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Healthcare Partnerships & Market Development | Ohio
Job Classification: Full-Time, Hourly, with Remote or Hybrid Work Option
Ohio Ambulance Solutions (OAS) is growing—and we’re looking for someone who knows how healthcare business really gets done.
We’re seeking an experienced Relationship Manager – Healthcare Partnerships & Market Development to help expand OAS’s relationships, revenue, and presence throughout Ohio.
This isn’t simply a sales position.
We’re looking for someone who understands the administrative side of healthcare—someone who knows how to navigate hospitals, health systems, nursing facilities, managed-care organizations and other healthcare organizations and can identify the people who influence and make contracting and transportation decisions.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll represent OAS throughout the healthcare communities we serve while developing relationships that lead to new opportunities.
You’ll:
Build relationships with hospital and healthcare executives, administrators, case-management leadership, post-acute providers, health plans, managed-care organizations and other decision-makers.
Grow existing OAS accounts by identifying additional service and partnership opportunities.
Develop new healthcare customers and strategic partnerships.
Open doors within organizations where OAS wants to do business.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Represent OAS at healthcare and community events throughout Ohio.
Identify emerging opportunities and prospective new markets for OAS.
Help leadership evaluate where OAS should grow next.
Turn relationships into measurable transportation volume, partnerships and revenue.
Who We’re Looking For:
Our ideal candidate has experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, hospital or healthcare administration, managed care, post-acute care, healthcare contracting, account management, or a related field.
We’re especially interested in candidates who:
Already have a strong professional network within Ohio healthcare.
Understand how hospitals, nursing facilities and health plans make purchasing and contracting decisions.
Can comfortably develop relationships with executives and senior healthcare leaders.
Are persistent without being “salesy.”
Know how to earn trust and maintain long-term professional relationships.
Are comfortable working independently and traveling throughout Ohio.
Can demonstrate a history of developing business, opening new accounts, growing territories, or creating strategic partnerships.
This May Be the Right Role for You If…
You know who to call inside a hospital when you want to discuss a transportation partnership.
You can walk into a healthcare organization where you don’t know anyone—and figure out who you need to know.
You enjoy building relationships more than making traditional sales pitches.
And when someone tells you, “We’re happy with our current provider,” you don’t consider the conversation over.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive opportunities.
Total compensation will be structured based on the candidate's healthcare experience, existing industry relationships, and demonstrated ability to develop and grow business.
OAS is prepared to offer a highly competitive compensation package for the right individual with a proven healthcare network and track record of business development.
Ohio Ambulance Solutions is a second-generation, family-owned Ohio medical transportation company with more than five decades of history serving patients and healthcare organizations.
Today, OAS provides ambulance and transportation services across multiple Ohio markets and continues to pursue opportunities for responsible, strategic growth.
If you have healthcare relationships, business-development experience, and drive to help an established Ohio company grow its footprint, we’d like to talk with you.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
