About the role
OutSystems Developer📍 Remote/Hybrid💼 Contract-to-HireWe're seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise web and mobile applications that power critical business operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full application lifecycle while building scalable solutions across web, mobile, tablet, and rugged handheld devices.
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using OutSystems.
Build responsive web applications, mobile applications, and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).Develop solutions for Android, iOS, tablets, and Zebra/Symbol handheld barcode-scanning devices.
Design offline-capable mobile applications with synchronization capabilities.
Integrate applications with APIs, databases, ERP systems, logistics platforms, and cloud services.
Implement barcode scanning, GPS, camera functionality, and mobile device integrations.
Troubleshoot production issues, MABS builds, plugins, and mobile platform challenges.
Participate in architecture reviews, security assessments, release management, and CI/CD processes.
Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and establish development best practices.
Qualifications:
âś… 5+ years of software development experienceâś… 3+ years of hands-on OutSystems development experienceâś… Experience building both web and mobile applications in OutSystemsâś… Strong knowledge of:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScriptSQLREST & SOAP APIsEnterprise integrationsâś… Experience with Android and iOS mobile application developmentâś… Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Preferred Experience
- OutSystems Professional or Expert Certification
- Zebra/Symbol handheld device development
- Barcode scanning and field operations applications
- Offline synchronization and disconnected environments
- Android Studio, Java, Xcode, Swift
- Cordova Plugins and MABSCI/CD, DevOps, Intune, MDM, SSO/SAML
