Long-Term Substitute Executive AssistantMaranatha Christian Academy (MCA) is a private school serving Grades Pre-kindergarten through 12 in Brooklyn Park, MN. Our vision is for every Maranatha student to be highly educated, Christ-centered, and biblically anchored world changers. MCA has an opening for a long-term substitute executive assistant starting at the beginning of August 2026 and continuing for approximately five months.The substitute executive assistant to the lower school principal ensures smooth, day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment by:Independently and collaboratively managing administrative tasks to support the principalFacilitating clear, timely communication among staff, parents, and stakeholdersAnticipating needs and resolving issues proactivelyUpholding the highest standards of discretion, integrity, and professionalism at all timesThis role combines strong organizational skills with proactive problem-solving to keep the lower school running seamlessly.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Must work well with young children and pre-adolescentsOversee daily lower school operations, including staff coverage, and respond to general inquiries and questionsExercise good judgment on staff and student matters using discretion and confidentialityManage incoming email, phone calls, and mailCoordinate the principal's calendar, appointments, and visitor check-insArrange substitute coverage for breaks or staff absences, which may include after-hours requests for staff with last-minute absences due to illness or emergenciesOrganize events and meetingsfield trips, parent/teacher conferences, chapel, etc.Coordinate student placements: interviews, kindergarten assessments, and student-teacher partnershipsDistribute communications and materials: mailings, birthday/prayer cards, curriculum, and assessment resources.Other duties may be assigned.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to multitask and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
