Duration: 1 year contract with the possibility of another year extensionShift Schedule: 1st Shift 7:30am-4:00pm | 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00am | 3rd Shift 11:30pm-8:00am (24/7 coverage) Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeksCertifications: Trade-specific AC/HVAC operator license/certificationExperience needed: Minimum 5 years' experience in A/C Equipment Operator with commercial or hospital experienceSpecial Skills needed: Operation/monitoring of Computer-Based Building Automation System (CBBAS) and chiller plant (centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers) Ability to independently troubleshoot/repairAfter-hours emergent responseResponsibilities: Operate/monitor CBBAS and chiller plant 24/7Perform routine surveillance/trending/analysis of system parametersPreventive/corrective maintenance on HVAC equipmentRespond to emergent HVAC/refrigeration calls incl. after-hoursMaintain operating logs, PM records, alarm historiesMisc: Exercises independent judgment for chiller plant start-up/shutdown; sole responsibility for engineering emergent situations outside normal hours
