About the role
Join the first 100% Employee-owned group practice in Illinois! Midwest Counseling is excited to share that we are looking for licensed therapists who want to work in Oak Brook, IL, Northbrook, IL, or downtown Chicago. Open to both part-time and full-time applicants. At Midwest Counseling & Diagnostics, we believe the future of mental healthcare belongs to clinicians. As Illinois' first 100% employee-owned mental health group practice, every therapist has the opportunity to become an owner in the organization they help build. Unlike private equity-backed practices, where profits benefit outside investors, our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) ensures that Midwest’s success is shared with the clinicians and staff who make it possible. After one year of full-time employment, eligible employees begin participating in our ESOP, building meaningful retirement wealth through company ownership at no cost to the employee. We believe investing in our clinicians leads to better care for our clients. If you're looking for more than just a job and want to build your career in a practice where your voice matters and your work contributes to your own future, we'd love to meet you.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
