Position Summary: We are seeking a service-oriented contractor to support inbound phone coverage and daily operational activities within the Capital Access team. This role spends a significant portion of the day assisting financial advisors and internal partners by phone while also supporting operational processing and issue resolution. Success in this position is driven more by communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service mindset than by prior banking or operations experience. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound phone calls from financial advisors and internal partners, providing accurate and efficient support. Process routine operational requests and transactions in accordance with established guidelines and service level expectations. Review and update account-related information across multiple systems with a high level of accuracy. Identify and escalate potential risks, discrepancies, or exceptions as appropriate. Deliver a service-first experience in all interactions with advisors and clients. Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Collaborate with team members and participate in required training, huddles, and team meetings. Follow documented best practices and adapt to process updates as needed.
Qualifications: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, friendly phone presence. Comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday answering inbound calls from financial advisors and internal partners. Customer service mindset with a genuine desire to help others and resolve issues. Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn operational processes and procedures. Ability to multitask between phone conversations, research, and processing tasks. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to learn new systems. Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Prior banking, operations, or call center experience is helpful but not required. Education High school diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of 3 years of client services experience
