Key responsibilities for the VP include serving as the primary pharmacy expert for a diverse client base, overseeing the development of comprehensive pharmacy benefit strategies, and providing strategic guidance on all aspects of pharmacy benefit management. Applicants for the VP of Pharmacy Consulting role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree such as a PharmD, MBA, MPH, or related field preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in pharmacy consulting, PBM consulting, employee benefits consulting, managed care, or a related healthcare environment is required, along with a deep understanding of pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, and employer-sponsored health plans.
