Healthcare Equity Associate (Therapeutics, Oncology) | Long-Biased Fund | New York, NY / Boston, MAWe're partnering with an established healthcare-focused investment firm on a confidential search for an Equity Associate to join its concentrated, long-biased public equity team in New York or Boston. The Role: You'll take full coverage and real autonomy over your names across oncology, immunology, rare disease, therapeutics, early-commercial companies, and diagnostics, reporting to the Head of Research. The work is primarily public markets, with some private diligence.
What You'll Do: Build deep conviction on a concentrated set of companies and follow every development in the names you own Build models and valuation frameworks, and evaluate clinical data and competitive landscapes Develop long ideas and present them to senior investment leadership What We're Looking For 3-5 years of healthcare or therapeutics-focused experience, ideally oncology, from top-tier sell-side research or fundamental long-term buy-sideA long-term owner's mindset, not a trader'sEnough scientific grounding to follow the data; no PhD required Strong processing power and the ability to make a decisive callA stable track record, and the confidence to share and defend a view Interested?
