Job Summary:
Audubon is currently seeking a Design Coordinator to join our team in the Houston, TX office. The Design Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of design and drafting activities by tracking schedules and deliverables, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication among project team members.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate design and drafting activities across assigned projects and disciplines. Track schedules, deliverables, design changes, and project priorities. Distribute work and help balance workloads among designers and drafters. Coordinate design inputs, markups, revisions, and document control. Support project meetings and communicate status, risks, and required actions. Review deliverables for completeness, consistency, and compliance with project requirements. Assist with resolving design and coordination issues. Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities: All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies' Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes: Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirementsEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Associate degree, technical training, or equivalent experience preferred. Experience in engineering design, drafting, or project coordination for industrial facilities. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Micro Station, 3D modeling software, or similar design tools.
