About the role
Electrician – Journeyman & Apprentice | Knoxville, TNWe're hiring both Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for commercial and industrial projects in the Knoxville, TN area.
What you'll do:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial and industrial job sites Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics Pull wire, bend and install conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid), and terminate wiring to code Install and service panels, fixtures, and control systems Follow NEC code and all jobsite safety protocols Journeyman-level electricians may help guide apprentices on site
What you need:
Journeyman: Valid Tennessee Journeyman Electrician license Apprentice: Enrolled in a formal apprenticeship program (TCAT, IBEW, or equivalent), or relevant hands-on experience Ability to read blueprints (basic to advanced, depending on level)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods Reliable transportation Solid understanding of jobsite safety practices
Nice to have:
Prior commercial or industrial electrical experienceOSHA 10 or 30 certification Own hand tools Details: Full-time, day shift (hours may vary by project). Pay based on experience and licensure level.
