Overview
As Director of HR Shared Services, you will define the operating model for how HR support is delivered, shaping a faster, more consistent associate experience. You will lead cross‑functional partnerships with HR, Legal, and business leaders to balance strong operations with empathy and trust. Through simplification, self‑service, and automation, you’ll improve access to answers and resolution while advancing data‑driven improvements. This is a strategic, impact‑driven role in a hybrid Deerfield Beach, FL environment that values clear ownership and meaningful service delivery.
Responsibilities Set the vision for how HR Shared Services operates today and tomorrow Lead teams handling sensitive associate relations with fairness and judgment Improve self‑service content and tools to enable quicker resolution Collaborate with HR Technology to enhance digital tools, automation, and AI‑enabled support Use data and feedback to improve service quality and experience Address root causes to reduce repeat questions and rework Set clear service expectations and ensure quality, consistency, and follow‑through Build and develop a high‑performing team aligned with JM Family’s leadership model
Key requirements 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or large support teams Experience modernizing HR support via processes, ownership, self‑service, automation, and digital tools Strong enterprise thinker with cross‑functional collaboration skills Proven ability to translate big ideas into tangible results and drive execution Natural people leader who builds teams and capability Renowned for building trust through presence, support, and influence across teams Comfort with using data and business insights to anticipate issues and optimize work Sound judgment, accountability, and ownership in decision making Adaptable and resilient, capable of navigating change and ambiguityempathytrust-buildingcross-functional collaborationself-service toolsautomationdigital tools
