About the role
Reid & Associates is partnering with a well-regarded community hospital in Orange County, CA to identify an ER-ICU Director. This is a permanent leadership role overseeing both the Emergency Department and the ICU.THE ROLE
Hospital leadership wants a more engaged, supportive and stable Emergency Department and is looking for the person to lead it. The ICU team already runs well and works independently, so the new Director can put real focus on the ER. This is a chance to shape a department's culture, not just keep it running. ABOUT THIS HOSPITALStrong safety record. Healthgrades 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Award, top 5% in the nation. Recognized programs. Accredited Geriatric Emergency Department. Stroke and heart failure certifications. Joint Commission accredited. A true community hospital. Serving its city since 1967, and an Orange County EMS base station. Small hospital, fast decisions. Leaders are visible and easy to reach. Departments work closely together, and good ideas do not sit in committee.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
