Position Summary We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join a leading multinational organization with operations across North America and global markets. This long-term consulting opportunity is ideal for an experienced tax professional with extensive international ASC 740 experience who enjoys partnering with clients, managing complex tax accounting matters, and delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment. This hybrid position is based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and requires working onsite three days per week. Manage the corporate tax provision with a focus on international ASC 740. Lead tax accounting and compliance activities for assigned client engagements. Analyze complex tax issues and recommend practical business solutions. Partner with client stakeholders to support tax reporting requirements. Review tax provisions, compliance processes, and supporting documentation. Provide technical guidance on federal, state, and international tax matters. Build trusted client relationships through exceptional communication and service. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required. Advanced degree in Taxation or related discipline preferred. CPA certification or equivalent credential highly preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience. Combination of Big Four public accounting and corporate industry experience preferred. Extensive experience with international tax accounting and ASC 740 required. Skills and Job‑Specific Competencies Strong knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting. Experience preparing and reviewing international tax provisions. Experience with U.S. federal income tax compliance. Knowledge of state income tax compliance and tax provision processes. Experience with sales and use tax reporting and compliance. Experience managing property tax compliance. Understanding of transfer pricing principles and documentation. Experience with partnership taxation. Experience supporting tax due diligence and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong tax research and analytical skills. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership when needed. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced consulting environment. Travel Requirements No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion. Salary Range SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
