Private Duty.role atVITALE NURSING INCPosition Overview Deliver individualized, patient-focused care in private residences or hotel recovery settings Provide post-operative support, including monitoring and wound care Manage long-term private duty assignments in high-profile households Support hospice and palliative care patients Assist patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication management including reminders, administration, and monitoring for safety and effectiveness Conduct skilled nursing home visits and clinical assessments Preferred Clinical ExperienceIV insertion and blood draws (highly preferred) Post-operative recovery, wound care, G-tube, and stroke patient management Tracheostomy and ventilator carePICC line/Port-a-cath management Medication administration and monitoring Comfort with COVID-19 patient care if needed
Minimum Requirements:- Valid California RN License
- Current BLS Certification (ACLS preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making in urgent situations
- Punctuality, professionalism, and trustworthiness
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
- Three professional references
- Proof of Malpractice Insurance
- Successful completion of a background check
- Lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $65 – $70 per hour
Employment Types: Full-time & Part-time available
Shifts: Day and Night shifts
Schedule: Monday–Sunday, with weekend opportunities as needed
