About the role
To build Alpaca into a leading media and lifestyle brand, the remote Head of Content & Media will manage the development of an AI-first content engine, oversee original media properties, and create strategies that transform company initiatives into compelling content across various channels.
Key responsibilities
Own the strategy and buildout of Alpaca as a recognized media brand with a differentiated editorial voice and engaged audience
Manage the content team and establish an AI-first content operating system to create a scalable content flywheel
Develop and oversee Alpaca's podcast platform, including editorial direction, guest strategy, production, and audience development
Required qualifications
10+ years of content marketing experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles within a high-growth B2B technology or fintech environment
Outstanding storytelling and editorial judgment to build trust with a global audience across multiple formats
Proven experience leveraging AI-native content creation tools and marketing automation
Demonstrated ability in developing executive thought leadership and category-defining narratives
Data-driven focus on measuring business impact and cost efficiency rather than just content output
