Job Title
Job Description: To serve as a professional staff employee of the Indiana State Police whose primary responsibility is to provide accurate and complete criminal history records for the purpose of background checks.
Job Duties: Assess, input, file, organize and retrieve information using various computer applications and systems. Review and entry of criminal arrests and dispositions in the Criminal History system. Access Prosecutor Portal, Doxpop, MyCase and ICLERK mailbox for the entry and updating of dispositions. Process Court orders. Complete requests for FBI/NICS to include Restoration of Rights, Gun Denials and Domestic Violence DeterminationsIDACS Certified. Ability to operate and maintain office equipment to include computer, copier, fax machine and shredder. Perform other duties as required.
Job Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent GED.Basic knowledge of computers. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be able to function independently with minimal supervision, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Ability to proofread documents with accuracy. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation. Applicants are asked to submit a complete work history.
