About the role

Bus DriverThe Bus Driver position will primarily consist of operating gas, diesel, electric, propane or CNG buses while observing state and city speed and safety regulations, as well as company customer service and safety policies. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Deliver bus to scheduled destination. Observe any visual defects and checks operating systems before and after all deliveries. Report emergency or imminent safety conditions to dispatcher. Report accidents immediately to dispatcher and complete company accident report. Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition. Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. Conform to all safety rules and use of appropriate safety equipment. All other duties assigned This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Pre-delivery inspection On time deliveries Form accuracy (delivery, fuel, driver log, timecards, etc.)This position is performed in outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Education and Experience
Current, Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B): Current Passenger Endorsement. Current Air Brake Endorsement / Certification. Current Medical certificate.2 or more year(s) of driving experience.
Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED.
