Settlement Officer PeopleShare is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Settlement Officer to join a well-established title company serving the Princeton and Robbinsville, NJ areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys conducting real estate closings, collaborating with industry partners, and delivering exceptional client service throughout the settlement process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to build lasting relationships within the real estate community.
Location: Princeton & Robbinsville, NJ (Must be open to working in both offices)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Pay Rate: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, Normal Business Hours | In-Office
Required Qualifications:
  • Active New Jersey Title Insurance Producer License
  • Active Notary Public certification
  • Previous experience conducting real estate closings and settlements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct residential and commercial real estate closings
  • Prepare, review, and finalize settlement and closing documents
  • Coordinate transactions with agents, lenders, attorneys, buyers, and sellers
  • Guide clients through the closing process and answer related questions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate professionals and referral partners
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities within the market
  • Ensure all transactions remain compliant with state regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the settlement process
