- Active BCBA certification (BACB)
- Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- School-based or K–12 experience preferred
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and IEP teams on behavior strategies
- Train and support classroom staff on how to carry out the plans
- Collect and analyze data to track student progress and adjust plans
- Take part in IEP meetings and keep required documentation and compliance up to date
