Work Model: Onsite for the first five days, then hybrid with three days onsite per week

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Fidessa Developer to support the Equities Cash Technology organization serving institutional and retail equities trading desks. This role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting production trading applications built on the Fidessa platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, deep knowledge of Fidessa architecture, frameworks, and products, and demonstrated experience performing product upgrades involving complex onsite customizations.
Responsibilities:
Support and enhance multiple Fidessa trading systems.
Integrate Fidessa systems into the bank’s technology stack.
Upgrade product components to maintain current versions.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and developers to meet business and regulatory requirements.
Onboard trading systems to DevOps and CI/CD tools.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experience.
Experience with the Fidessa product suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, and FDA.Knowledge of FIX protocol.
Experience in equities, global markets, order management, and post-trade systems.
Experience with Windows 10/11 and Linux.
Scripting skills in TCL, Python, Unix shell scripting, and PowerShell.
Experience with Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of distributed system design, messaging, and event processing.
Experience with AMPS, IBM MQ, and Tibco EMS messaging frameworks.
Experience with automated testing frameworks, Agile SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with AI tooling.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of core Java development experience.
Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience.
FTW implementation and development experience.
