Position Overview: The Senior Sales Manager will drive new business growth by developing and managing U.S. importeraccounts. This role is ideal for a seasoned logistics sales professional with an established client networkwho can deliver full-service import and distribution solutions, from origin pickup through final delivery. This role offers a competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure that directly rewardsyour performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business with U.S. importers, distributors, retailers, and e-commerce sellers, focusing on Asia (including Southeast Asia) to U.S. import shipments
  • Leverage and grow an existing book of business to meet and exceed monthly and annualrevenue targets
  • Sell integrated import solutions, including ocean freight (FCL/LCL), air freight, customsbrokerage, drayage, warehousing, and inventory distribution to U.S. warehouses andretail/Amazon FBA channels
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers in supply chain, procurement, and operations
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements, and negotiate pricing and contractterms
  • Work closely with overseas offices, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smoothshipment execution and client satisfaction
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and carrier rate changes to identify new opportunities
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer records in CRM, and provide regular salesreports and forecasts
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of sales experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or NVOCC
  • An established U.S. client base with the ability to bring in business within the first 3 to 6 months
  • Proven track record in import logistics, especially Asia and Southeast Asia to U.S. trade lanes
  • Solid understanding of the full import process, including Incoterms, ISF, customs clearance, drayage, and domestic distribution
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing to travel for client visits as needed, and to Houston, TX or Los Angeles, CA once a monthfor business reviews
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Established network in the Houston and Gulf Coast market (petrochemical, industrial, retail, orconsumer goods sectors)
  • Client relationships in retail, new energy, or recycling industries
  • Experience working with Asian-based freight forwarders
  • Experience with e-commerce logistics, including Amazon FBA and retail distribution centerdeliveries
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and logistics TMS systems
