We work across a wide range of industries (AI/Technology, Healthcare, Government, Manufacturing, Retail, Construction, and more) and across many business functions (Engineering, Cybersecurity, HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Product, Sales, etc.).This posting is not tied to a single immediate opening. Instead, we’re building our bench of high-performing Contract Sourcers so we can quickly deploy top talent as new client needs arise. The first step is a conversation to understand your strengths, preferred role types, and ideal assignment structure. When a project aligns, we’ll reach out with the client context, scope, KPIs (if applicable), tools, and expectations to confirm mutual fit.
What you’ll do:
As a Contract Recruiter, you’ll partner with IQTalent and/or client stakeholders to build strong candidate pipelines and deliver market insights. Responsibilities vary by client, but often include: Sourcing strategy & execution Build talent pipelines for priority roles using outbound sourcing, referrals, and database search Create targeted search strings and talent maps by function, level, and geography Identify and engage passive talent with compelling, tailored outreach Candidate engagement Conduct initial outreach and interest qualification (as defined by the project)Maintain timely follow-up, nurture warm leads, and ensure an excellent candidate experience Pipeline management Track activity and funnel progress in the appropriate systems (IQTalent tools and/or client ATS)Move candidates through stages and ensure clean documentation and handoffs Market intelligence Provide real-time feedback on talent availability, compensation signals, competitor insights, and sourcing feasibility Suggest adjustments to job requirements and sourcing approach to improve conversion Reporting & KPIsReport weekly on activity and outcomes (e.g., outreach volume, response rate, qualified leads, submissions, interviews)Adopt client-defined KPIs when embedded on client projects Tools you’ll use Tooling varies by assignment. You should be comfortable adapting quickly. IQTalent’s primary sourcing platform: HireEZAccess may include: Linked In Recruiter, Indeed Sourcing When fully embedded, you may work directly in a client’s ATS/CRM (varies by client)
What we’re looking for:
Required 5+ years of sourcing and recruiting experience (agency, in-house, RPO, or embedded model)Proven ability to source and engage passive talent across multiple role types Strong outreach writing skills (personalized, conversion-focused)Ability to manage multiple reqs and priorities in a fast-moving environment Comfort working with metrics and reporting weekly progress High attention to detail (notes, tags, dispositioning, and data hygiene)Preferred Experience supporting technical roles (Software, Data, Cyber, IT) and/or corporate functions Familiarity with HireEZ, Linked In Recruiter, and modern sourcing methods Experience working in different ATS platforms and adapting quickly Ability to support hiring teams with talent market insights and calibration feedback

You build healthy, qualified pipelines quickly and consistently Your outreach drives strong response and conversion rates (with clear experimentation and iteration)Hiring teams get clean, organized candidate handoffs with clear notes You operate like an embedded partner - proactive, communicative, and dependable Availability expectations Most projects require consistent coverage during standard business hours Monday–Friday. If you are available for 40 hours/week, we expect you to be reachable and responsive during regular working hours (with reasonable flexibility, of course). Part-time engagements (20–30 hours/week) are also common depending on client needs.
