Job Description
Title: Material Handler / Material Control Technician
Location: 100 Nagog Park, Acton, MA 01720 Shift & Pay Rate: Monday to Thursday (6pm to 6:30am) / $25.40/hr on W2Friday to Sunday (6am to 6:30pm) / $24.29/hrJob Summary: We are seeking a Material Handler/ Material Control Technician to support material movement between the warehouse and cleanroom at a medical device manufacturing facility. The role includes inventory transactions in SAP, material replenishment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while following quality and safety procedures.
Responsibilities: Transfer components between warehouse and cleanroom according to SOPs and Kanban requirements. Perform accurate material transactions in SAP.Replenish the Material Control Room and prepare components for cleanroom transfer. Operate computers, printers, radios, manual pallet jacks, and related equipment. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Complete required QMS training and follow safety/quality procedures. Perform end-of-shift duties and other assigned tasks.
Requirements: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. No prior experience required; training provided. Ability to read and understand work instructions in English. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift 30–50 lbs, operate a manual pallet jack, and stand/bend for extended periods.
