About the role
Job Description
Company Overview:
Crushr is a growing environmental services franchise specializing in mobile dumpster compaction. Our patented trucks visit customer sites and compact waste in open-top, roll-off dumpsters in about 12 minutes, which increases container capacity by up to 80%. This helps businesses in construction, manufacturing, distribution, recycling, and other industries cut hauling costs (often by 40–50%), reduce landfill trips, lower fuel use and CO2 emissions, and keep operations running smoothly—without long-term contracts or major equipment investments.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Sales Representative / Truck Operator to grow local accounts while delivering reliable on-site compaction service. This hybrid role combines B2B sales with field operations. You will prospect and close new customers, manage existing accounts, schedule and perform mobile compaction services with our specialized truck, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. Ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship building and practical, outdoor work with specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain the compaction truck and related equipment safely and professionally.• Schedule and perform on-site mobile dumpster compaction. • Prospect, cold-call, network, and follow up with potential customers.• Conduct free demos (“crushes”), present cost-savings calculations, and close service agreements.• Handle scheduling, service adjustments, and ongoing account management.• Track leads, pipeline, service visits, and results; report activity as required.• Represent the Crushr brand professionally in the field and community.• Follow all safety protocols, company procedures, and environmental best practices.• Collaborate with franchise ownership on growth targets and service excellence.
Qualifications:
• Proven sales experience (B2B preferred; cold-calling and closing skills highly valued) or strong aptitude with a willingness to learn.• Comfortable operating trucks/heavy equipment or mechanical aptitude and willingness to be trained on the specialized compaction system.• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. A commercial driver's license (CDL) not required. • Ability to work outdoors and drive safely in various weather conditions and ability to perform physical tasks associated with equipment operation and site work.• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently with accountability for both sales results and service quality.• Strong communication, customer-service, and relationship-building skills.• Basic computer/smartphone proficiency for scheduling, CRM, and reporting.• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant experience or training preferred.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
