About the role

Food Service Assistant Assist in preparing and serving meals, clean up, and related food service duties as required.
Qualifications: Valid drivers' license/reliable school experience in quantity cooking preferred. Ability to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lb).Ability to stoop and climb as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a variety of duties in the preparation of, serving, transporting, and cleaning up after meals. Cashiers meals/snack bar. May be required to prepare food service receipts. Perform other duties as assigned. Licenses/
Special Requirements: Fingerprinting and background check to determine that there have been no convictions involving physical molestation, abuse, injury or neglect of a minor. Must complete Safe Schools trainings and adhere to district infection control plan. WA State Food Worker Card (obtain through the WA State Department of Health)May be required to obtain first aid and CPR certification
Benefits: For on-call positions, eligibility for benefits is determined by a number of factors, including the number of hours an employee worked during the last two (2) school years (September 1 through August 31). Some on-call positions may not be benefit eligible. Benefits are administered through the Payroll Department. Additional information is available on their district webpage.
