About the role
To support a fast-growing Workers Compensation insurance business, the full-time Senior Accountant (Florida Licensed) will manage day-to-day accounting operations, perform transactional accounting activities, and assist in month-end close processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Support day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities, adapting to varying business needs
Perform transactional accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Assist in month-end close processes and balance sheet account reconciliations
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5-7 years of accounting experience with strong fundamental accounting knowledge
Experience with account reconciliations and transactional accounting (payables and receivables)
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis)
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
