About the role

About the role: Rippling is looking for a Growth Manager, SEO & GEO to help scale our organic growth across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms. As search evolves, we see a significant opportunity to expand Rippling's visibility across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI search experiences. You'll work closely with the SEO/GEO team lead to scale existing programs, improve performance across established workstreams, and develop new initiatives that drive incremental growth. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can move between strategy and execution: identifying opportunities, analyzing performance, optimizing existing programs, launching experiments, and building scalable processes that improve organic visibility and qualified pipeline. You'll contribute across technical SEO, high‑intent content, programmatic SEO, and GEO, helping Rippling reach more potential customers and turn organic discovery into measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable owning projects end to end. You know how to turn insights into action, build on what's already working, and identify where new approaches can unlock additional growth.
What you will do: Scale SEO and GEO growth: Execute and expand organic growth programs to improve non‑branded visibility, qualified traffic, MQLs, SQOs, and pipeline. Optimize organic search performance: Improve rankings, traffic, and conversions through keyword research, content optimization, internal linking, and other SEO initiatives. Build and scale programmatic SEO: Identify scalable opportunities, expand existing programs, and optimize page templates and workflows for quality and conversion. Grow bottom‑of‑funnel acquisition: Develop and optimize product‑led content, comparison pages, alternatives, and buying guides aligned with search intent and business priorities. Expand GEO initiatives: Improve Rippling's visibility, mentions, and citations across AI‑powered search experiences, particularly for high‑intent commercial queries. Track AI search performance: Monitor brand visibility, citation share, and competitor presence using tools like Profound to identify and prioritize improvements. Strengthen off‑site authority: Partner with internal teams and agencies on backlinks, digital PR, and third‑party placements that improve search and AI visibility. Drive technical SEO improvements: Identify and resolve issues across crawlability, indexability, site architecture, structured data, and performance, partnering with Engineering as needed. Identify new growth opportunities: Research, test, and scale new SEO and GEO initiatives that drive measurable business impact. Measure and communicate results: Track organic performance, conversions, and pipeline impact, translating insights into actionable recommendations. Collaborate cross‑functionally: Work with Content, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Web Engineering, and external agencies to execute initiatives.
What you will need: 5+ years of SEO or growth marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, with a track record of driving organic acquisition and business results. Hands‑on execution experience: Ability to independently build, optimize, and scale SEO and GEO initiatives from idea through measurement. Strong SEO fundamentals: Expertise in keyword research, technical SEO, content optimization, internal linking, structured data, and link acquisition. GEO and AI search knowledge: Understanding of AI‑powered search and how brands earn visibility and citations. Direct experience is a plus. Analytical mindset: Ability to interpret performance data, prioritize opportunities, and connect organic growth to conversions and pipeline. SEO and GEO tools: Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools. Profound experience is a plus. Programmatic SEO experience: Experience building or scaling template‑driven landing pages while maintaining quality and relevance. Content and technical judgment: Ability to identify search opportunities, optimize commercial content, diagnose technical issues, and collaborate with engineers. Ownership and adaptability: Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable testing new approaches in a fast‑paced, evolving search landscape.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
