Conestoga Tumbling & Gymnastics Instructor Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center is looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and safety-focused Tumbling & Gymnastics Instructor to lead preschool and youth tumbling and gymnastics programming. We are seeking community-minded individuals who are passionate about movement, recreation, and working with young participants of all abilities and backgrounds. As a Tumbling & Gymnastics Instructor, you’ll: Lead engaging preschool and youth tumbling and gymnastics classes that promote skill development, confidence, and fun Teach age-appropriate foundational skills such as balance, coordination, body control, jumping, rolling, climbing, and basic gymnastics movements Provide instruction and activities that are appropriate for participants’ ages, abilities, and skill levels Support individual participants while managing small-group dynamics Maintain a safe and organized instructional environment and follow appropriate safety practices when using gymnastics equipment Adapt activities and instruction to meet the needs and abilities of individual participants Foster a welcoming and positive environment that encourages confidence, independence, and a love of movement To be considered for a position, instructors should have experience or interest in teaching tumbling, gymnastics, or related movement activities, particularly with preschool and youth participants. Benefits: " tab to see what the district offers you! Hours & Classification Must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays within the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm. Hours will depend on programming. Part-time employees work fewer than 1,560 hours annually.
Qualifications: Instructor I No teaching experience required; must love working with people of all ages and abilities; be able to work inside and outside; and be at least 16 years of age. Pay rate range: $19.78 to $22.30 hourly (based on experience and internal equity). Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September. Instructor II Must have at least 1 year of experience in leading and instructing general classes and be at least 16 years of age. Pay rate range: $21.81 to $24.59 hourly (based on experience and internal equity). Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September. Instructor III Must have over 2 years of experience and specialized training in the assigned program area, be 18 years of age, and have a valid driver's license. Pay rate range: $26.51 to $27.33 hourly (based on experience and internal equity). The full hourly range for this job classification is $26.51 to $29.89. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.
