About Us: As part of Stagwell's 5x5 Growth Plan, our strategy to achieve $5B in revenue by 2029, Stagwell is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Vice President, Communications & Advocacy Growth to lead business development efforts within our Communications & Advocacy capability pillar. This role is designed for a proven growth leader with a strong business development mindset. We are looking for someone who excels at identifying, pursuing and winning strategic and tactical new business opportunities and can use their current depth of knowledge of corporate communications, public affairs, and advocacy campaigns to pursue net new clients. Reporting to our Global Chief Commercial Officer, this person will collaborate across Stagwell's global network to unlock integrated opportunities and enhance our global pipeline. Success means driving measurable revenue impact and accelerating growth through enhanced collaboration across regions and capabilities.

Responsibilities: Define and lead the overall business development strategy for Stagwell's Communications & Advocacy pillar, aligning with global business objectives. Proactively identify, pursue, and win strategic and tactical new business opportunities. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, leveraging personal network and industry relationships. Collaborate with growth Senior Vice Presidents across other capability pillars, including Marketing Services, Media and Commerce, Digital Transformation, and the Marketing Cloud, to unlock Integrated opportunities and enhance the global pipeline. Leverage data and analytics to track pipeline performance, revenue targets and conversion rates, ensuring ambitious growth goals are met or exceeded, and using these insights to refine growth strategies. Partner with existing clients to deepen relationships and uncover additional growth opportunities, ensuring Stagwell is positioned as their preferred strategic partner.
Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in growth, business development, or sales within the communications, public affairs, or advocacy sectors. Demonstrated success in business development within a parent company structure or as an In-house practitioner, with deep understanding of client needs. Strong knowledge of corporate communications, public affairs, or advocacy strategies. Demonstrated ability to build and convert a robust pipeline into long-term partnerships, and a proven ability to maintain strong client relationships and drive client acquisition. Global mindset with a willingness to travel and engage directly with prospects and clients. Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to work collaboratively across global teams to deliver integrated solutions and adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; comfortable representing the company in high-stakes settings. CompensationIn order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in New York City for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
