About the role
Director, Communications & EngagementLocation: Long Island City, NY preferred; other locations will be considered for internal candidates. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director, Communications & Engagement leads enterprise internal communications and company engagement planning and execution. This role partners closely with business and HR leaders to construct impactful communications and engagement initiatives that ensure employees understand priorities, navigate change, and remain aligned. The Director serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, leads a Manager, Communications & Engagement, and is accountable for creating a clear, consistent, and disciplined communications and engagement system across the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and own enterprise internal communications strategy and narrativeLead HQ company engagement planning and execution, including signature events, forums, and culture initiativesPartner with business and HR leaders to construct impactful, integrated communications and engagement initiativesAdvise executives and develop key messaging, scripts, and presentationsLead change communications for major initiativesPlan and execute town halls and enterprise communication forumsLead engagement survey and follow-through actionsCreate and deliver communication content across channelsEstablish communication discipline, governance, and prioritiesLead, coach, and develop a Manager, Communications & EngagementQualifications10+ years in internal communications or corporate communicationsProven experience in executive communications and transformationExperience leading employee engagement planning and executionPeople-leadership experience, including managing and developing direct reportsExceptional writing and storytelling skillsAbility to operate independently with strong influence and judgmentHigh attention to detail and professionalismThe estimated salary range for this position is $185,000- $215,000.Please note that the salary range provided on the job posting does not include potential bonuses and other forms of compensation and, in some cases, may fall outside the range. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained.
