Position description:
We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to grow Nexthermal’s presence within a designated geographic territory. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and providing technically sound solutions that align with customer needs.
Duties:
Develop and grow new business opportunities within an assigned geographic territory through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach. Identify and engage key decisionmakers to understand their thermal application needs and recommend customized heating solutions. Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact to proposal, negotiation, and closing. Build strong relationships with both new and existing customers to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships. Work closely with engineering and product development teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions. Conduct on-site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations as needed. Maintain detailed records in the CRM system and prepare regular sales activity reports. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer requirements Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for technical sales presentations. Provide pre-sales support by addressing customer inquiries and technical challenges. Assist in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships. Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Experience Proven experience in technical sales or a related field is essential. Strong background in conducting product demos and pre-sales activities. Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong customer service orientation.
