About the role

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support our SIU lien resolution and operational team. This role is not your typical lien resolution to settle and close claim files. Our lien resolution team utilizes detailed SIU based objections and arguments, claim analysis and various SIU defenses to defeat liens from suspect, abusive and or fraudulent providers. The ideal candidate has workers compensation claims experience, understands the lien process with the WCAB, works well to support defense council, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal and/or claims environment.
Key Responsibilities: Lien Management Review lien analysis prepared by internal administrative team Communicate with providers who have filed liens through EAMSConduct EAMS searches Apply appropriate SIU based arguments to support good faith offer Communicate with DA on file, sub out attorney's when applicable to replace with SIU team attorney'sProvide DA with documentation to support SIU based positions
Qualifications: Workers Compensation claims background, knowledge and experience preferred Para-Legal experience preferred Previous negotiating experience Ability to identify claim and treatment inconsistencies for claim defenses Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (specifically Sheets/Excel)Experience with legal case management systems and/or Workers Compensation claim systems
