GENERAL SUMMARY: The Beverage Supervisor supervises the daily operation of all Beverage service areas and Team Members. Responsible for ensuring Four Diamond guest service in accordance with departmental service standards. Will at all times enforce Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC) policies and procedures. FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENTAll Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by PRC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Select, schedule, and evaluate all Team Members within the Beverage department. Insure that proper guest service is maintained at all times. Responsible for maintaining proper Beverage service staffing levels at all times. Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures for food handling. Communication within other departments. Ensure all Team Members are abiding by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PRC. Other duties as assigned. ACCOUNTABILITYThe Beverage Supervisor has supervisory responsibilities including departmental corrective action and Team Member relation issues.
The Team: Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAININGA High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least two (2) years’ relative experience, six (6) months in a supervisory capacity required to successfully perform this job. COMMUNICATION SKILLSThis position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Furthermore, this position also requires the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or Team Members of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLSThis position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITYThis position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust qualify to obtain and maintain a Class “A” gaming license. SKILLS/ABILITIESComputer literate, familiar with Microsoft office, experience with Micros POS is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material. Excellent communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with Team Members and guests. Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
