About the role
Guiding nonprofit clients through the onboarding process, the full-time remote Onboarding Senior Accountant will review financial records, resolve discrepancies, and prepare reconciliations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
Support the onboarding of new nonprofit clients by reviewing financial records and ensuring proper transaction recording
Provide full-cycle accounting support, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activity
Prepare month-end close workbooks, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly financial statements
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
CPA license preferred
Minimum of five years of general accounting experience
Experience in audit preparation
Public or outsourced accounting experience preferred
