About the role
Production DesignerUnder general supervision, the Production Designer will primarily participate in the daily execution of designing category banners, promotional banners, social assets, and other design requests from stakeholders. This candidate will be responsible for sizing digital assets for our web and partner platforms, including managing translation inputs for localized versions. They will ensure brand consistency is maintained across all deliverables.Job Responsibilities & Expectations:Adapt and version high-quality, brand-consistent assets for web platforms, app stores, partner placements, email campaigns, and other stakeholder requests while ensuring alignment with brand guidelinesManage high-volume production tasks, including resizing, versioning, translation input, and formatting of digital assetsAssist in the creation of original photo assets and illustrations that support the brand(s)Work with the Creative Director and Production Manager to develop, evolve, and document brand guidelinesWork with marketing and purchasing teams to create in-house marketing and sales materials, including sales decks and presentationsSelf-regulate the creative and production workflow of marketing assets with key stakeholders to gather information, answers to questions, and approvals for publishingParticipate in strategic planning sessions for creative projectsManage timelines based on priorityManage files and assets on shared drives, the digital asset manager, and in workshare toolsConsistently deliver fresh ideas and conceptsOptimize files and improve process workflowsThe duties and responsibilities described above may only partially describe this position. Other duties and responsibilities not outlined in this document may be added as necessary or desirable, with or without notice.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Required:Strong portfolio of professional work demonstrating excellent visual design fundamentals: composition, color theory, typography, and concept developmentAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting prioritiesExcellent organization and file management skillsStrong sense of photography and image retouchingExperience working on multi-platform campaignsConsistency in high-quality work that aligns with brand guidelines and visual standardsProactively seek and create solutions to challengesAttention to detail and accuracy in work and communicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsEquipment Knowledge:Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (After Effects knowledge is a plus)Experience with content management systems (CMS) is preferredExperience with digital asset management platformsExperience with workflow management apps (Slack, Asana)Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms)Experience Requirements:Generally requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience.Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.Anticipated Pay Scale:$54,063 - $115,850 USDiHerb is on a mission to make health and wellness accessible to all.
