Role Description: The LMHC Supervisor is a part-time, virtual. This role includes providing clinical supervision to associate-level and intern mental health counselors, overseeing case conceptualization and treatment planning, and ensuring adherence to ethical and regulatory standards. The LMHC Supervisor will review documentation, provide feedback on clinical notes, and support quality assurance for client care. Day-to-day responsibilities also include offering consultation on complex cases, facilitating team meetings or group supervision, and collaborating with leadership to improve clinical workflows and services.
Qualifications: Current Washington State LMHC license and experienced, WA Approved clinical supervisor. Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based psychotherapy interventions across diverse client populations. Knowledge of legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in mental health practice, including documentation, confidentiality, and risk assessment. Ability to lead, mentor, and support clinicians through constructive feedback, collaborative problem solving, and clear communication. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance supervisory duties and a clinical caseload in an on-site setting. Experience working in outpatient hospital or community mental health settings; familiarity with multidisciplinary team environments is beneficial. Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and ongoing professional development.
