About the role
- Pick, pack, label, document, and ship domestic and international sample packages
- Maintain accurate raw-material and finished-goods inventory through replenishment, cycle counts, and system transactions
- Receive, move, stage, store, and replenish materials needed for sample lab operations
- Prepare samples by accurately weighing ingredients and operating laboratory equipment in accordance with batch sheets and established procedures
- Assist in fulfilling flavor sample requests and schedule compounding orders using production, inventory, and project management systems
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Control, Production, and other teams to support efficient workflow and timely sample delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and a safe, clean, organized, and compliant work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs
- Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, or logistics support
- Basic knowledge of laboratory weighing, sample preparation, and material-handling practices
- Ability to accurately follow batch sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory or sample-tracking systems
- Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, Good Manufacturing Practices, and company procedures
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Food Science, Biology, or related scientific discipline
- Two to three years of experience in the flavor, fragrance, food, chemical, or related manufacturing industry
- Experience supporting sample compounding, inventory management, and shipping within a laboratory environment
- Experience with D365, PLM platforms, Batch Metrics, or similar workflow-management systems
