About the role
To build and enhance River's YouTube channel, the full-time Video Content Strategist will manage the video content pipeline, write engaging scripts, and craft compelling titles and thumbnails, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Generate and filter video ideas, collaborating with the marketing team and conducting research
Craft and test titles and thumbnails, ensuring they drive engagement and viewership
Direct the editing process and oversee the structure and pacing of video content
Required qualifications
Proven track record of growing a video channel with measurable improvements in views and retention
Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, retention curves, and click-through rates
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, particularly in simplifying complex economic ideas
Solid understanding of Bitcoin and its economic implications
Demonstrated sense of ownership and integrity in content creation
